The front of the AAM300CE-NT is made from solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made from overlaid mahogany. A rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the African mahogany neck. The neck heat treatment process (Thermo Aged) gives the wood greater stability and better resonance, which is also supported by the reduced X-M ribbing (optimally transmitting string vibrations throughout the body).
Smooth movement of the hand across the fingerboard and seamless matching across the entire surface are guaranteed by the lower body cutaway (Advanced Access Cutaway) and rounded fingerboard edges. An interesting feature is the specifically designed hole in the back of the instrument (A.I.R.port), which allows you to hear and feel what you are playing better.
Sound pickup is handled by Ibanez Custom electronics with Volume and Tone controls and an Ibanez T-bar pickup. The strings are anchored via the zero fret and compensated bone saddle in chrome die-cast 18:1 ratio gears and rosewood fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer the advantages of easy handling and firm string attachment over standard models.
The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of a black body surround, a rosette composed of mother-of-pearl (abalone) and wood rings, and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell.
