The body of the Jim Dandy Dreadnought Rex Burst is made of laminated linden. Glued to the nato neck with a "C" profile is a walnut fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. Good resonance of the body is supported by traditional X ribbing, orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by position dots made of imitation mother-of-pearl. The strings are attached via a zero fret and a compensated synthetic bone saddle in open-gear die-cast mechanics and a walnut fingerboard. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a Rex Burst finish on the soundboard, single-ply pickguard and perimeter binding in Aged White, and nickel hardware.
