The body of the G5021E Rancher Penguin Parlor Mint Metallic is composed of a solid spruce soundboard and laminated maple back and sides. The atypical triangular shape of the soundhole is unmistakable. A rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the mahogany neck with a "Standard U" profile. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classic Thumbnail).
The guitar is sounded by Fishman active electronics with a three-band equalizer and built-in tuner. The strings are mounted in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and figwood fingerboard. The stylish finish is accentuated by the gold perimeter body trim complete with black and white lines, gold Plexi pickguard and gold hardware.
