The body of the Godin Session T-PRO LTD Kanyon Burst MN is made of Canadian silver-leaf maple, the bolted neck and fingerboard are made of maple. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two Medium-sized frets and black position dots.
The Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special humbucker with Alnico 4 magnets gives the guitar the full juicy sound of late 70s rock and hard rock - balanced distortion and articulate clean sound with a solid core. Two Seymour Duncan SSL-2 pickups in the neck and middle positions offer a fuller sound than traditional single-coils, and the middle pickup has reversed polarity and windings to eliminate noise. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume and tone diaphragm potentiometers and the five-position pickup switch. The tone diaphragm control features a Push/Pull function that allows you to split the humbucker coils for a pure single-coil sound.
The strings are held in locking tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio and Godin Tru-Loc tremolo via a Graphtech zero fret. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the glossy Kanyon Burst finish and a practical pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
