The mahogany body of the Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Top Translucent Oxblood guitar features a spectacular AA-quality figured maple top and Translucent Oxblood finish. A thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the wood to breathe and enhances the sonic qualities of the instrument. A mahogany neck with a comfortable "Slim Taper" profile is glued to an Indian rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Acrylic Trapezoid) facilitate orientation on its surface.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two 60s Burstbucker humbuckers with Alnico V magnets. Their expressive tone refers to later models of PAF pickups. The pickups are hand soldered to volume and tone potentiometers and "orange drop" capacitors. The pickups can be switched between by a three-position switch. Stable tuning is ensured by mounting the strings via the ABR 1 Tune-O-Matic bridge in the stringers and via the Graphtech zero fret in the Grover Rotomatics tuning machines. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by nickel hardware and a bright pickguard.
The guitar comes in a case with a set of accessories.
