The mahogany body of the Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Top Blueberry Burst guitar features a spectacular AA-quality figured maple top and Blueberry Burst finish. A thin finish in the form of a nitrocellulose lacquer allows the wood of the guitar to breathe and enhances the sonic qualities of the instrument. A mahogany neck with a comfortable "Slim Taper" profile is glued to an Indian rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Acrylic Trapezoid) facilitate orientation on its surface.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two 60s Burstbucker humbuckers with Alnico V magnets. Their expressive tone refers to later models of PAF pickups. The pickups are hand soldered to volume and tone potentiometers and "orange drop" capacitors. The pickups can be switched between by a three-position switch. Stable tuning is ensured by mounting the strings via the ABR 1 Tune-O-Matic bridge in the stringers and via the Graphtech zero fret in the Grover Rotomatics tuning machines. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by nickel hardware and a bright pickguard.
The guitar comes in a case with a set of accessories.
