The Elvis SJ-200 Ebony electroacoustic guitar is based on the specifics of the Gibson SJ-200, which was given to Elvis in the mid-1960s during a recording session at RCA Studio B (Nashville). It is a Super Jumbo model known as the "King of the Flat-Tops".
The front of the guitar is made of Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of maple. The resonance of the top is supported by hand-cut X-type ribbing. The rounded maple neck with a "Rounded" profile is glued to an Indian rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty Standard-size frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by mother of pearl position markers (Mother of Pearl Graduated Crowns).
The strings are secured via a bone fretboard and saddle fret in Keystone Waffleback tuning machines and a rosewood fingerboard. The luxurious workmanship is accentuated by the five-ply and three-ply body binding (top/back), the SJ-200 design imitation tortoiseshell pickguard, Mother of Pearl Hourglass and Teardrop inlays on the fingerboard, and gold hardware.
High-quality sound system with preservation of natural acoustic tone is guaranteed by L. R. Baggs VTC electronics. The guitar is supplied in a case.
