There are few electric guitars that can be said to be as classic or legendary as the Les Paul model from American manufacturer Gibson. The Les Paul Axcess Custom Figured Top w/ Ebony Fingerboard Gloss Bengal Burst is a top model from the Gibson Custom Shop.
The solid mahogany body is adorned with a two-piece flamed maple top, a spectacular Bengal Burst finish and gloss nitro lacquer. The 9-hole chambering makes the instrument lighter and won't put as much strain on your spine as traditional LP guitars. Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by mother of pearl position blocks.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two 490T/490R humbuckers known from Gibson models of the 1960s. Their character refers to vintage PAF pickups, only with less aggressive highs and more clarity in the midrange. Two volume potentiometers, two push/pull tone controls with coil-split function and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The strings are anchored in Grover Keystone tuning machines and through the TOM tailpiece in the stringers.
The guitar comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity.
