The front top of the Victoria tenor ukulele is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back of the back is made of laminated acacia, which softens the piercing spruce top. The choice of neck and fingerboard materials is the tried and tested woods, African mahogany and ebony, used in premium instruments. Playing comfort is elevated to a higher level by design elements in the form of a finely selected lower body cut-out and an ebony armrest. The strings are held in the company's proprietary mechanicals and ebony fingerboard via a compensated saddle and bone fretboard. Nice workmanship is accentuated by decorative position markers on the fingerboard and classic slotted headstock design.
The sound system offers active electronics with a preamp installed in the instrument's soundhole.
The Slovenian brand Flight is another interesting name in the field of ukulele manufacturers. It offers a wide range of these popular compact instruments in classic and less traditional shapes and standard sizes. Beginning players and vagabonds with a musician's soul will be delighted by the well-crafted, more affordable ukulele models made from classic and exotic woods in natural and coloured finishes, or the Travel Series ukulele models with a durable plastic body. More demanding musicians and professional players can also choose from a selection of highly crafted semi-/full-size electroacoustic ukulele models.
