The alder body in the asymmetrical shape of the Mustang electric guitars is covered in a glossy polyester lacquer. Glued to the maple neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets. The "Early 70s C" neck profile is based on the specifics of '70s necks, while the 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and Vintage Tall frets let you know not to count on any modifications or frills for modern players here. What you can count on, on the other hand, is a shorter menza (610 mm), so playing the guitar will suit people with smaller fingers.
A pair of vintage-style 70s single-coil pickups give the guitar a warm sound and feel with clearly admitted Fender DNA. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume and tone shutter potentiometers, and you can switch between pickups with the two-position switches. The strings are mounted across the synthetic bone fretboard in the company's Fender Vintage "F" Stamped tuning machines and traditional floating tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by a four-layer imitation pearl pickguard (Aged White Pearloid) and the Fender logo on the traditionally larger 70s design headstock.
