The alder body in the asymmetrical shape of Jazzmaster electric guitars is covered in a glossy polyester lacquer. Glued to the maple neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets. The "Late 50s C" neck profile offers a familiar grip that will sit well in your hand, while the 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and Vintage Tall frets make it clear that you shouldn't count on any modifications or fretwork for modern players here.
A pair of vintage-style 50s single-coil pickups give the guitar a warm sound and feel with clearly admitted Fender DNA. Traditionally, Jazzmaster instruments also include electronics with two circuits (Lead and Rhythm) - in the former, both pickups are active and the character of the sound can be adjusted using the standard potentiometers; in the Rhythm circuit, only the neck pickup is active and its sound can be adjusted using the two rotary knobs (dials) Volume and Tone.
The strings are mounted across the synthetic bone fretboard in the company's vintage-style tuning machines and traditional floating tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by the gold-coloured anodised aluminium pickguard and the Fender logo on the headstock.
The instrument comes in a high quality packaging (deluxe gig bag).
The Vintera line offers electric guitars and basses made in Ensenada, Mexico, that will take you back to the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s.
