The body of the guitar is made of poplar. The bolted maple neck with a narrower C profile is glued to a fig wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is traditionally facilitated by pearloid imitation dots.
Three proprietary single-coil pickups with Alnico magnets give the guitar a sound with authentic Fender character. Adjustments and settings can be made using the volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch. The strings are mounted in a single-turn vintage-style tremolo and tuning machines with an also period-correct design. The visual aspect of the instrument is suitably complemented by nickel hardware, a four-ply pickguard and a company logo on the headstock in a matching 70's design.
