This Fender 1960 Telecaster is a masterbuilt instrument from the Fender Custom Shop, made for you by master guitarist Levi Perry. The guitar is adorned in super faded/aged Olympic White paint and Heavy Relic finish with distinct elements of faux patina in the form of "scratched lacquer", faded hardware and other battle scars that convincingly evoke decades of intense playing and gigging, even though this is a brand new, not boutique/bazaar, instrument.
The body of the guitar is made from two pieces of alder. Glued to the maple neck with a period "63s Strat style C" profile (5/4 quartersawn) is a AAA quality rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Upgrade/45085 size frets and micarta position markers. Authentic 60s Telecaster twang and feel are provided by the guitar's two hand-wound single-coil Tele pickups. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls. Strings are anchored in vintage-style tuning machines via a bone fretboard and an "ashtray" bridge through the body.
The guitar comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity.
