Limited Edition Fat '54 Stratocaster Relic with Closet Classic hardware Aged Black.
The body of the guitar is made of two pieces of ash. The Relic finish with authentic-looking faux patina elements in the form of minor scuffs, scratches and scars, and the lightly oxidized Closet Classic hardware give the guitar the look of an instrument that's had some years of being played and flashed around clubs and bars.
The neck, with a special 70th anniversary 54 Soft "V" profile, is made from a single piece of maple (quartersawn). Twenty-one Narrow Tall (6105) frets divide the fingerboard surface.
Three hand-wound pickups from the Custom Shop (Fat '50s Strat) take care of the guitar's sound. The character of the sound can be manipulated using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position pickup switch. The strings are held in vintage-style tuning machines via a bone fretboard and Custom Shop synchronized tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by a single-ply white pickguard, 1954-style pickup and potentiometer covers in ABS plastic, and a special 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate.
The guitar comes in a Deluxe Hardshell case with strap and certificate of authenticity.
