The new Acoustic Series transistor combos are built for natural sound reproduction of electroacoustic guitar, acoustic instruments or vocals. They provide a full sound experience and a wealth of features.
The two-channel combo has two combined inputs for instrument jack or XLR microphone cable. Both channels are equipped with a volume control, three-band EQ and controls for effect selection and volume. The integrated effects processor includes reverb, delay, chorus and various combinations of these. The surround effects find full use especially when combined with the two XLR outputs for the left and right channels during a gig or recording session, when they add more volume to the sound. On the rear panel, there is an input for an optional four-pedal footswitch (008-0996-000), which will expand the effects functions to include Tap Tempo, tuner and more. An Aux input can be used to connect an external music source such as an MP3 player, and a USB or Bluetooth input can be used to connect other devices. The signal can also be output to headphones, for which there is an output on the front panel. Travelers will appreciate the combo's universal voltage for international use. Exceptional sound is provided by the 8-inch wideband speakers housed in a stylish box made of lightweight plywood. The 200W version also features a support structure for better listening.
