The mahogany body of the guitar is decorated with Olympic White finish. The three-piece mahogany neck is glued to a roasted jatoba fingerboard with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl.
Two proprietary humbuckers give the guitar an aggressive sound suitable for contemporary rock and metal music, as well as a pure single-coil feel (thanks to the ability to split the humbucker coils). The strings are anchored in the company's tuning machines and through the TOM tailpiece in the stringers. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by black hardware.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Thanks to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company LTD has been established, offering popular models in a more affordable design.
