The RZK-I Burnt electric guitar is the signature model of guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe of the German band Rammstein. At first glance, it catches the eye with its radical Distressed & Burnt colour scheme and red pickups. Its asymmetrical body is made of alder. A three-piece maple neck with a Thin U profile is glued to a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets.
The second generation of this guitar differs from the older model by using Fishman Fluence Richard Z Signature Modern active humbuckers with ceramic (headstock pickup) and Alnico (neck pickup) magnets. So you can expect great sonic flexibility from the instrument with voicing set to the Rammstein guitarist's liking. Other quality components used include the original Floyd Rose double-turn tremolo, Gotoh tuning machines and ESP strap locks. Tuning stability when using the tremolo lever is guaranteed by the locks on the zero fret, which, like all hardware, are in a stylish chrome finish.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammet, James Hettfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
