The uncompromisingly sharp design of the E-II EX/NT BLK electric guitar is based on the well-known Explorer models. The body of the instrument itself is made of mahogany. An ebony fingerboard with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets is glued to a mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. the neck is recessed deeper into the body. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by position dots and an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two EMG active humbuckers with stylish black chrome covers in the proven 81/60 combination give the guitar a juicy sound ideal for sharply chiseled rock/metal riffs, sing-along solos and ultra-fast shred. Tuning stability and easy string changes are ensured by anchoring the strings via a bone zero fret in Gotoh's locking mechanism and a solid Gotoh TOM bridge in the truss rod.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
