The MOD11 guitar effect from the American brand EHX (Electro-Harmonix) offers eleven different modulation effects (vibrato, tremolo, chorus, flanger, phaser, rotary, pitch, filter, etc.) and many useful functions in a compact body.
Each of the eleven effect types operates in 2-3 modes selectable by the Mode button, so you can switch between traditional effect forms and more exotic ones (e.g. Pitch offers a Major Arpeggiator mod). Setting the four box controls determines the selected effect (Modulation type), the depth/intensity of the effect modulation (Depth), its speed (Rate) and output volume (Volume - for the first six types) or other parameters (Color - for the remaining five effect types). Sound editing options are extended by secondary functions of the Rate and Volume/Color potentiometers (LFO Shape, Crossover, Envelope Factor, Mix, Overdive), which can be accessed by holding down the Mode button.
The pedal's footswitch offers additional functions in addition to switching between buffered bypass and effect mode. Namely, Tap Tempo with the ability to connect an external footswitch to the pedal via the Tap In connector and Momentary, where the effects mode is only active while the switch is depressed, when depressed it returns to bypass mode. All electronics are housed in a durable chassis. The pedal is wired in buffered bypass mode. The power supply is provided by the included 9.6V DC 200mA adapter.
