The dB Technologies ES 503 is a high-end portable column PA system.
Ideal as a portable PA system for both live sound and playback, the ES is a simple yet powerful plug-and-play solution for solo musicians or small bands and touring DJs, thanks to its built-in digital mixer and Bluetooth stereo audio receiver.
The ES 503 is a high-end 1000W sound system consisting of two column elements fitted with 4 full range 3" speakers and one 12" subwoofer. The dBTechnologies components and design allow for an amazing SPL ratio (121 dB) relative to the size of the setup. The subwoofer houses a Digipro G3® amplifier module with automatic power supply and a three-channel mixing console with Bluetooth connectivity. A powerful DSP unit controls all the functions of the built-in digital mix, making the ES 503 a real gem in terms of sonic performance and versatility. The internal column-driver design allows for asymmetrical vertical coverage (thanks to Logarithmic Curved Column Array technology) and the unique "double ring" phase plug extends horizontal coverage and ensures perfect voice intelligibility. This allows the ES 503 to adapt to any situation, whether with a seated or standing audience.
The ES 503 is one of the most variable portable systems as it allows 3 different configurations suitable for hundreds of different occasions:
- 1 MONO MODE: two satellites are connected from the top (thanks to a quick and easy sliding connection system) and are placed on the subwoofer via a D25 mm pole.
- 2 STEREO MODE: each satellite is placed on its own tripod
- 2b STEREO MODE: 1 satellite on a pole, 1 on a tripod
- 3 DOUBLE COLUMN MODE: the ES503 system in mono mode becomes the master for the second ES503, which feeds the signal thanks to the integrated symmetrical output channel. In this way, both systems are controlled by the master's built-in mix and all settings are routed through the master PA's OLED display.
The ES 503 is equipped with a 3-channel mixing console and a built-in Bluetooth™ stereo module that receives audio from devices such as mobile phones, tablets or any other audio device.
The bass-reflex subwoofer houses a 12" woofer and amplifier module. In addition to the input connectors and user interface controls, there are two Speakon outputs and a VDE power connector. The robust and stylish cabinet is made from birch plywood and finished with a scratch-resistant black paint, making it truly ready to go. Two handles (one on each side) aid easy transport.
