The Cort AC-70 is a 3/4 size classical guitar that combines all the best practices known for this instrument. One of them, for example, is the fan ribbing, which is the most common pattern used in classical guitars. This gives this guitar a warmer, bassier sound.
The soundboard is made of spruce, while the sides and back are made of mahogany, a time-honoured combination. The neck is also made of mahogany, and rosewood was used for the fingerboard, which is also used for the headstock. The zero fret has a width of 45 mm, the menusure corresponds to 578 mm thanks to the three-quarter size. The guitar is fitted with 19 frets.
Classic tuning mechanisms are chrome plated with brown pins. The headstock is specially shaped to optimally transmit the vibrations of the strings to the body, hold the tuning firmly and allow the most comfortable playing.
The size and sound of the Cort AC-70 make it a great instrument for beginning children. The included case serves to make it comfortable and safe to carry.
