Blackstar's Studio 10 series introduces three new full-amp combo models in luxurious boutique designs inspired by the most popular British and American amplifiers. These are 10-watt combos with simple controls, differing in design and the use of a different end tube (EL34, 6L6, KT88). The stylish design of the machines is suitably complemented by the refined sound of the Celestion 12-inch speaker.
The Studio 10 EL34 offers classic British rock crunch with the milder gain of the EL34 tail tube and ECC83 tube in the preamp. Clear top-panel controls determine output volume, distortion level, tone colour/character and the ratio of the built-in reverb effect in the final sound, which you can further 'kick up' with the Boost button to add more juice.
The rear panel offers a serial effects loop for integrating your favourite pedal effects, a footswitch output (a single channel switch activating the Boost function is included), outputs to external speakers (1x 16, 1x 8, 2x 16 Ohm) and a speaker emulation output where you can send the signal directly to a mixer, recording device or output to headphones.
