PHOENIX-1000 electric guitars are part of the LTD Deluxe series, which represents the best of LTD production. The sound, design, craftsmanship and playability of instruments from this series fully stand up to comparison with more expensive "high-end" guitars.
LTD Phoenix models offer an interesting offset body design. The construction of the PHOENIX-1001 QM TOBACCO SUNBURST guitar consists of mahogany body wings, a spectacular top veneer of flame maple with a luxurious wood grain supported by the Tobacco Sunburst color finish, and a through-neck made of three pieces of mahogany. Twenty-two Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets divide the Ebony Macassar fingerboard surface. Position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
The Seymour Duncan Custom 14 humbucker, made exclusively for ESP, gives the guitar a great dynamic sound and a wide range of tones - from clean to blues-rock crunch to full heavy metal distortion. Thanks to the push/pull function of the volume knob, you can change the character of the sound to single-coil (coil-split).
The strings are mounted in the company's high-quality locking mechanisms and via a Tonepros Locking TOM string in the stringers.
