The alder body of the M-1001 CHARCOAL METALLIC SATIN guitar is decorated with a matte black lacquer finish. A three-piece maple neck is bolted to a macassar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions.
The Fishman Fluence Modern active humbucker with ceramic magnet gives the guitar a great dynamic sound (without any accompanying noise) with precise articulation of individual notes/chords, plus the ability to choose between voicings of active and passive pickups (push/pull function of the volume control).
The strings are mounted in high-quality Grover tuning machines and a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by gold hardware.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, has been formed to offer popular models in more affordable designs.
