Semi-Acoustic Guitar | Product code:

The body of the G5622 Electromatic's semi-hollow double-cut model is made of over-ply maple and a chambered spruce center block that reinforces the guitar's soundboard. Glued to the maple neck with a Thin "U" profile is a fig wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classical Thumbnail).
Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers give the guitar a full dynamic sound with good tone articulation and a slightly higher output signal than the Filter'Tron pickups offer, i.e. they are sonically a little closer to traditional humbuckers. To adjust the sound, there are two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter, an overall volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing you to pull down the Master Volume without boosting the bass frequencies) and a three-position pickup switch.
Precision tuning is guaranteed by the Graphtech NuBone zero-fret string attachment in the company's die-cast tuning machines, Adjusto-Matic adjustable tailpiece and stringers. The guitar's stylish design is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of Aged White body binding, nickel hardware and a Black Plexi pickguard with the Gretsch corporate logo.
