The ESP E-II series represents electric guitars manufactured in factories in Japan. The E-II Alexi RIPPED is one of the last models designed by Alexi Laih, leader of Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight and an unforgettable figure in the metal scene. The guitar's offset V-shaped construction consists of alder wings and a through-neck made of three pieces of maple. The ebony fingerboard is divided by twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets and position markers in a Sawtooth design. Elements in the form of a narrower fast neck with a Thin U profile, fingerboard recesses between frets 19-24, and "glow-in-the-dark" side luminescent markers ensure maximum playing comfort at all times.
The two passive pickups, i.e. the EMG HZ FH-2 ceramic-magnet humbucker with higher output signal and the EMG HZ S2 single-coil neck, give the guitar a clear articulate hi-gain sound with the perfect response needed for flawless phrasing of crisp metal riffs as well as a warm "rounder" sound for guitar solos. A special feature of the instrument is the ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ and gain up to 18 dB. The strings are housed in high-quality Gotoh locking tuners and an original Floyd Rose tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. The stylishness of the instrument is underlined by the Purple Fade Satin colour design w/ Ripped Pinstripes and chrome hardware.
Other than a slightly scuffed case, everything is 100%, the guitar has been minimally played. Sold in BAZAAR mode of VAT.
