PRS Satin Standard 24 series S2 electric guitars are made in Stevensville, USA. They differ from the Custom models in the absence of a maple top and distinctive pickguard. They represent a good choice for modern players who demand well-made instruments with versatile use and traditional design.

The mahogany body of the Satin S2 Standard 24 Charcoal Satin guitar offers distinctly beveled edges to promote overall playing ergonomics, while providing the foundation for a dense sound with rich sustain. Glued to the mahogany neck with Pattern Thin profile is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-four frets. Position dots make it easy to navigate its surface.

A pair of proprietary humbuckers give the guitar a clean sound with punchy mids. Its character can be adjusted with the volume potentiometers and the tone shutter, which is equipped with a push/pull (coil-split) function, allowing the guitar to give you even the pure sound of single-coil pickups. There's also a three-position switch that lets you select between individual pickups or plug in both.

Stability of tuning is guaranteed by the strings' attachment in locking mechanisms (PRS Low Mass Locking), which prevent unwanted string movement, and the company's patented tremolo. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
