Roland GAIA 2 presents a fascinating universe of inspiring sound creation, combining a hybrid engine consisting of wavetable and virtual analogue synthesis. With an intuitive and logically structured panel that clearly defines the process of creating synthesis for rapid sound design, users can quickly master the basics before venturing into unexplored sonic territories. Full-size keys provide excellent playability, and the Sequencer and Motional Pad make it easy to generate complex sounds and phrases full of dynamic movement and modify them in real time.

Equipped with an MFX section with 53 unique effect types and dedicated Chorus and Delay/Reverb sections with multiple types including JUNO Chorus, Shimmer Reverb, Modulation Reverb and more, the GAIA 2 offers a rich palette of sound effects. An informative high-contrast OLED display, USB Type-A port for connecting a USB flash drive or external USB MIDI controller, and a compatible USB-C port for communicating with music software on computers and mobile devices add another layer of user connectivity. GAIA 2 also supports Model Expansions and other content on the Roland Cloud (with the SH-101 Model Expansion pre-installed), and enables wireless rehearsal and download of Model Expansions and Sound Packs with Roland Cloud Connect and the optional WC-1 wireless adapter.
