The ESP E-II ECLIPSE Full Thickness Evertune is an electric guitar in a traditional single-cut (LP) design. It features a mahogany body with the full thickness of LP models and a solid maple top (maple cap) with a gloss black finish. Glued to the mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl and an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
The two active Fishman Fluence Classic humbuckers not only provide the guitar with great dynamics and precise tone articulation, but also, thanks to the two push/pull controls, complete sonic versatility.Three different pickup character/voicings allow you to switch between a wide range of musical genres - from jazz/blues and classic rock/hard rock to metal.
The strings are anchored by Gotoh's locking tuning machines and Evertune model F tailpiece, which compensates for string tension during plucking and sharper playing, ensuring the guitar stays in tune in all conditions. Nice workmanship is accentuated by gold hardware and multi-layered body and headstock binding.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
