Custom Shop 59 P-Bass NOS RW FABLK is a Fender Custom Shop electric bass made to similar specifications as the original 1950s models, including the NOS (New Old Stock) finish, which is a completely new, authentic finish of the 1950s and 1960s originals, without the artificial patina and faded lacquer. And then, it's impossible to travel back in time! It thus represents a great choice for all discerning musicians and connoisseurs who occasionally dream of what it would have been like to go to a store in the USA in the 1950s or 1960s and buy a brand new Fender.
The body of the instrument is made of two pieces of alder. Glued to the maple neck is a AAA quality rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty Medium Jumbo (6150) frets. White micarta dots on the fingerboard facilitate orientation. Split single-coil 59-62 P-BASS provides the instrument with a beautifully dynamic bass bottom end. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume and tone controls. The stylish finish is accentuated by Fender's vintage-style tuning machines and 59 P-Bass Gold pickguard.
The bass comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity.
