Central Warehouse In Stock 1 pcs
Vintage instrument in fully playable condition, a legendary artifact from the 60's with the unmatched charm of the original P-bass. Everything on this bass is in original condition except the body paint! The sound is provided by the original pickup coupled with the original electronics. Other hardware is also original. If you are looking for authentic sound, you should beware.
The body of this bass has a newer, transparent cream lacquer, so it presents an opportunity for players looking for an authentic sound.
There is no more traditional instrument among basses than the Precision. The solid and unsurpassed construction with a very simple but purposeful passive electronics layout has been working in this form with a split-coil pickup for over 65 years.
The ash body is made from a single piece of wood! Ash has recently become unavailable and major manufacturers like Fender are planning to use it only on top of the line instruments in limited quantities. The neck is traditional maple, with a rosewood fingerboard just as characteristic of the 60s. The neck of the bass has a MAR66 stamp on the inside, referring to March 1966.
The bass is being sold including the current Fender deluxe case as a second hand item under the BAZAAR VAT scheme.
