The construction of the E-II HORIZON NT HS/Amethyst Sparkle electric guitar with its modern Super ST design consists of an alder body and a three-piece maple neck. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the ebony fingerboard surface. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers and an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers with ceramic and Alnico magnets provide the guitar with a great dynamic sound (without any accompanying noise) with precise articulation of individual notes/chords and, if needed, a sufficient amount of punch/aggressiveness. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to switch between voicings - the guitar's sonic arsenal is thus much wider than it might at first appear. A three-position pickup switch completes the controls as standard.
The strings are secured in high-quality Gotoh locking tuning machines via a bone fretboard and a solid Hipshot bridge through the body of the guitar. The stylish finish is accentuated by the Amethyst Sparkle finish and black hardware.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
