The ESP E-II Eclipse QM/RDBFRX is an electric guitar with a traditional single-cut (LP) design. The mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with a maple top (maple cap) and a spectacular maple top veneer with a wood grain supported by a Reindeer Blue color finish. The mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deep into the body, is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks and ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two EMG active humbuckers with black chrome caps in the proven 81/60 combination give the guitar a juicy sound ideal for sharply chiseled rock/metal riffs as well as vocal solos or ultra-fast shred. The character of the sound can be adjusted with two volume knobs, a tone diaphragm potentiometer and a three-position pickup switch. The strings are anchored by Gotoh locking mechanisms and a Gotoh TOM tailpiece and stringer.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
