HOTONE Ampero II Stomp

Ampero II is an even more compact and refined version of the Ampero effects processors and amp modelers from the Asian brand Hotone. This multi-effect, the size of a larger stomp box, fits comfortably into your pedalboard, where it can easily replace your entire guitar rig - no more lugging heavy stuff around unless necessary.

It offers a total of 460 effect types (87 instrument modulations, 68 cabinet simulations, over 100 sounds of well-known pedal effects, over 60 original Hotone effects, acoustic effects, new preamp models, end stage simulations), 300 presets, a built-in stereo looper with 60 seconds of recording time, Reamp support, and a dedicated IR loader module with 20 Celestion IR speakers and 50 slots for custom IR (recording at a max quality of 2048 IR sample points). Individual effects are housed in sixteen effect modules within a dual effect chain multieffect chain, where up to 12 effect modules can be used simultaneously.

A simple user interface with three footswitches, five knobs and a four-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution lets you edit and organise individual patches quickly and easily - no more bouncing around bulky pedalboards. Sound quality is guaranteed by the ESS Sabre's tri-core digital processor, 24-bit A/D/A converters, dynamic range up to 127 dB, and CDCM (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling) and F.I.R.E. (Field Impulse Response Enhancement) modeling technologies that respond to every change in the circuit, as opposed to fixed modeling algorithms.

In terms of I/O, Hotone offers stereo jacks and a stereo effects loop, a USB port for firmware updates, recording/editing/managing effects/IR via free Win/Mac software or for use as a USB audio interface (8-in, 8-out USB audio interface), MIDI I/O, and an EXP/CTRL jack for extended control. The chassis of the multieffect is made of aluminum. The power supply is provided by the included 9-18V DC adapter.
