Tama has decided to apply their best Starphonic series hardware to these metal drums. This creates a unique combination of a high quality drum at a very affordable price. This is truly a drum with exceptional value for money.
This particular model features a unique 1.2 millimeter thick copper body that gives it a dark, predatory and very rich sound with a punchy bass. The dimensions of the drum are 14 x 7 inches, Grooved Hoop rims and Freedom type shells are used. The extra sensitive strings include 20 strings made of high carbon steel.
The entire Starphonic series is made up of excellent drums, and the Copper model is certainly no slouch. This is a top-notch drum for the money.
