FENDER SQUIER Paranormal Cyclone LRL CAR

With the Fender Squier Paranormal series, the unconventional hybrid electric guitar designs introduced by the American Parallel Universe series and the more affordable Mexican Alternate Reality series are now available to guitarists on a limited budget. The instruments in the Fender Squier Paranormal series are simply proof that even so-called "budget" guitars can look cool.

The Paranormal Cyclone electric guitar is a hybrid of several familiar Fender designs - the smaller offset body from the Mustang, pickups and vintage synchronized tremolo from the Stratocaster, and controls taken from the Jaguar.

The instrument's poplar body is covered in a glossy polyurethane lacquer. A fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Narrow Tall frets is glued to a bolted maple neck with a C profile. The fingerboard surface orientation is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl position dots.

Three single-coil pickups with Alnico magnets give the guitar an unmistakable Fender sound and feel. The character of the tone can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three two-position pickup switches (On/Off). The strings are mounted in the company's vintage-style mechanics and synchronized tremolo with six saddles. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a four-ply imitation pearl pickguard, chrome hardware and the Squier logo on the headstock.
