FLIGHT Diana TE Soundwave

Flight's Princess Series features semi-massive acoustic and electro-acoustic ukulele models with a number of interesting design features. The Victoria, Sophia, Leia and other models come in a stylish red gig bag with 15mm padding.

The front of the Diana tenor ukulele is made of solid cedar, while the back and sides are made of laminated stained walnut, the grain of which contrasts nicely with the cedar top. Glued to the okoumé neck is a purpleheart wood fingerboard fitted with eighteen frets. The strings are attached to the headstock in a classic slotted headstock design over the saddle and bone fret. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by the glossy lacquer body, double-sided perimeter binding, mother-of-pearl rosette and gold hardware.

The Flight Soundwave Pickup System allows you to enrich the acoustic sound of the instrument with delay, reverb and chorus effects, both with and without the instrument plugged in. The system works by sending a signal from an under-cabinet piezo pickup to a digital processor, which processes the signal and forwards it to an actuator located on the back of the ukulele. The latter then distributes the vibrations throughout the body. In case of connection to the apparatus, the internal system is bypassed.
