The Gatekeeper is an ultra-compact studio-quality noise gate that simply filters out all distracting hum, hiss and other unwanted sound effects with its fast J-FET circuitry. Two pedal controls adjust the sensitivity/threshold of the filter onset and the speed at which the noise gate closes after the signal drops below the level set by the Threshold control. Nothing complicated.
The pedal is wired as a true bypass. A 9V adapter is used to supply power. The consumption of the box corresponds to 20mA.
