The Arrow-NT Black Metal's "V" construction is composed of mahogany wings and a three-piece through-neck made of maple with a narrower Thin U fast profile.
The active EMG 81 cobbler humbucker provides the guitar's sound with the necessary density, fullness and aggressiveness. The needs of metal players are also catered for by the strict controls in the form of a single volume potentiometer and EMG TKO Kill switch. The strings are held in the company's locking tuning machines (LTD Locking) and through a solid Tonepros Locking TOM bridge through the body of the guitar.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
