The Arrow-NT Arctic Metal's "V" construction consists of mahogany wings and a three-piece maple through-neck with a narrower, fast Thin U profile. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets divide the Ebony Macassar fingerboard surface.
The EMG 81TW active humbucker provides the guitar's sound with the necessary density, fullness and aggressiveness of a humbucker, as well as the punch and articulation of a single-coil thanks to the ability to disconnect the humbucker coils (Push/Pull function of the volume potentiometer). The volume control complements the EMG TKO Kill switch. The strings are held in the company's locking tuning machines (LTD Locking) and through a solid Tonepros Locking TOM bridge through the body of the guitar.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, was created to offer popular models in an affordable option. Even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, however, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
