The maple neck is glued to a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Vintage Small frets. The position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Pearloid Neo-Classical Thumbnail) facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
Two TV Jones TV Classic humbuckers give the guitar the sound and predation of pure rock & roll with a lively response. Controls in the form of a three-position pickup switch, two pickup volume potentiometers, an overall Master Volume control, a Standby switch, and a three-position tone shutter switch offer a wide range of sonic settings.
Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by anchoring the strings via the bone zero fret in the Grover open drive and via the Rockin Bar cob seated on a rosewood base in the Bigsby B6G vibrato. The stylish look is accentuated by gold hardware including G-arrow potentiometer caps, Aged White body surround complemented by a black pickguard, gloss polyurethane body paint with simulated F cutouts, rosewood veneer on the headstock and a black pickguard with the Gretsch logo.
