The body of the guitar is made of 44 mm thick ash wood. The Wizard III's bolt-on, fast-profile neck is composed of two pieces of maple and a middle piece of bubinga wood - the bubinga, along with the rosewood fingerboard, marks the brand's return to time-honored materials (for models made outside of Japan). The fingerboard surface is divided by 24 jumbo-sized frets and offset position dots.
Two Mojotone "PW Hornet" passive humbuckers combining ceramic and Alnico magnets give the guitar a wide range of sounds - from beautifully clear tones to a full aggressive sound great for fast solos, where it doesn't lose concreteness on thick strings and isn't unnecessarily harsh in the treble. The guitar's sonic arsenal is expanded by the ability to split the humbucker coils with the Coil Tap switch. All in all, the instrument offers six different pickup configurations.
The strings are anchored in the company's Die-Cast drives and in the Edge-Zero II double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. The White Stain body and headstock colour scheme is complemented by Cosmo Black hardware.
