FENDER SQUIER Paranormal Super-Sonic LRL GM

With the Fender Squier Paranormal series, the unconventional hybrid electric guitar designs introduced by the American Parallel Universe series and the more affordable Mexican Alternate Reality series are now available to guitarists on a limited budget. The instruments in the Fender Squier Paranormal series are simply proof that even so-called "budget" guitars can look cool.

Paranormal Super-Sonic guitars offer an unconventional inverted offset body design, a shorter menza (610 mm) and the massive sound of Atomic humbuckers. The Graphite Metallic model's poplar body itself is adorned with a glossy grey metallic finish. A narrow fig fingerboard (40mm fret width) with twenty-two Narrow Tall frets is glued to a bolted maple neck with a C profile. The fingerboard surface orientation is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl position dots.

Two Squier Atomic humbuckers give the guitar a modern, solid sound without unwanted hum. The sound can be adjusted with two volume potentiometers and a three-position pickup switch. The strings are mounted in the company's vintage-style mechanics and synchronized tremolo with six saddles. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by a four-ply pickguard, chrome hardware and the Squier logo on the headstock.
