FENDER Tom Morello Stratocaster RW BK

Fender has taken on the daunting task of creating a signature Stratocaster for guitar wizard and sonic experimenter Tom Morello, of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave fame. The design of the "Soul Power" model is based on the modified Designer Series Stratocaster that Tom Morello used in the aforementioned Audioslave.

The alder body of the guitar is covered with a glossy polyester lacquer. Glued to the bolted maple is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. The "Deep C" neck profile and the combined fingerboard radius (9.5 - 14 inches) guarantee a good finish over the entire fingerboard surface, fast playing and smooth string pulling (bending techniques). The positioning dots made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.

Three single-coil pickups, an SD Hot Rails bridge pickup and two company Vintage Noiseless pickups, give the guitar a dynamic articulate sound with zero accompanying noise. Standard controls in the form of a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are complemented by a Kill switch, which can be used to instantly mute the signal or create, as T. Morello often does, stutter effects.

The stability of tuning is guaranteed by mounting the strings in the company's locking mechanisms and in the Floyd Rose FRT-02000 double-turn tremolo, which you can use to embellish your playing with impressive sound effects. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the chrome pickguard and the graphic "Soul Power" motif.

The guitar comes in a deluxe black hardshell case.
