PRESONUS StudioLive 32SX

The StudioLive 32SX digital mixing console and recorder extends the third generation of the StudioLive series and, like its predecessors, is designed for both studio work and live sound. Completely redesigned signal processing features vintage-style EQ and compression on every channel. There are 32 - Microphone preamps with digital control and storage options, 25 motorized faders and a built-in SD card slot for multitrack recording, playback and virtual soundchecks. Musicians in the studio or on stage can have full control of their monitors with the QMix smartphone app. The entire system can also be controlled from a PC/MAC or a Windows or iOS tablet.

XMAX preamps with digital control and storage options

The integrated XMAX Class A microphone preamps offer great sound for live and studio use. The high headroom (volume range) and low noise figures result in a clean and brilliant sound that may be common in the studio, but not so common in live sound consoles. The preamp settings are fully digital with the ability to save and recall, which is ideal for example when playing the same band repeatedly, etc.

Flex Mixes allow arbitrary layer settings for mixing

A brand new feature is Flex Mixes, which allow flexible adjustment of the mixer for the current application or project. Flex Mixes can be set up as Auxes, Sub Mixes, Matrix Mixes - always according to the needs of a particular show or project. Need a large number of differently set up monitor mixes for a large number of musicians? No problem, you can create up to 16 aux sends, as well as up to 16 subgroups or matrix mixes.

Wireless control via wifi

StudioLive 32's integrated wireless network allows complete remote control of the console from computers, mobile phones and tablets. So you can check and correct your mix from anywhere in the room or overhead using the UC Surface app for Windows, macOS and iOS computers and tablets. Monitor mixes can then be controlled using the QMix app from iOS and Android smartphones. Each musician can therefore set up their own monitor mix, e.g. in in-ear monitors.

Completely redesigned processing of EQ, compressors and effects

StudioLive offers 4 non-envious effects processors that can be used for reverbs, delays and effects. Effects can be applied to individual channels as well as to monitor buses and subgroups. The built-in effects can also be used as insert effects on up to 4 individual channels. Each channel individually has its own EQ and dynamic processor.
