TAYLOR Builders Edition K24ce

The Taylor Builder's Edition K24ce is the next addition to the Builder's Edition line, a high-end instrument with design features not found on regular models. The all-solid body of the guitar is made of beautiful Hawaiian koa. The rounded body edges, bevelled shoulder rest, special shape of the lower body cut-out and shaped headstock meet the needs of guitarists and their playing comfort to the maximum. The quality of the materials used is also evidenced by the mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, which features an ornate mother-of-pearl (Paua) Spring Vine motif.

The patented V-Class ribbing enhances the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation. The strings are mounted over a black graphite fretboard in Gotoh gold tuning machines with a 21:1 gear ratio. The luxurious look of the instrument is accentuated by decorative elements in the form of front and back panels made of mother of pearl (Paua) and Hawaiian koa, rosettes composed of koa and mother of pearl (Paua) rings and mother of pearl company logo and ornament on the headstock.

This is a completely unique way of capturing sound that takes the possibilities of realistic sound reproduction to unprecedented dimensions. Three specially designed independent piezoelectric pickups located behind the fingerboard are used for sensing. Unlike conventional pickups, they don't sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the grasshopper seat. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
