If you're looking for a professional machine that captures the authentic tone of your electroacoustic guitar or other pickup-equipped instrument, the ERA 2 acoustic combo from the well-established Hughes & Kettner is definitely the right choice. The well-known acoustic design guru Michael Eisenmann has been involved in its production, which in itself is a guarantee of the utmost care during the manufacturing process and the quality of workmanship. It can rightly boast the Made in Germany label.

The ERA 2 acoustic combo is only slightly larger in size than conventional 60 watt combos, in fact its body hides a respectable 400 watts of power provided by two eight-inch tweeters. It has the headroom to authentically capture even the most subtle sonic and dynamic nuances of your playing. Two identical channels with combined instrument and microphone inputs are equipped with traditional three-band audio equalizers. Players who like to enhance their instrument's sound with sound effects will also find a great deal to like. The FX Preset potentiometers assign one of the sixteen types of included delay, reverb, chorus or flanger-based effects to each channel. With the other two channels, you can connect a smartphone or other device/app to the combo and play backing tracks, samples or auto-drummer sounds.

Other useful features include a DI output that can send the signal directly to a mixing desk or other speaker, send/return effect loops for external pedal effects, an optical output to connect the combo to high-end studio equipment, a stereo line output, and jacks for connecting headphones, a tuner or footswitch. Footswitch not included, the combo comes with a padded cover.
