The Clavinova CSP series offers excellent sound and a sophisticated learning system to help you achieve your dream and learn to play the piano - in the comfort of your own home. The CSP 170 and CSP 150 differ in their use of keyboards and speaker power.
Clavin's CSP 150 features a keyboard with the same hammer action (just without the strings) as an acoustic piano. Thus, the GH3X reproduces the response to the stroke as an acoustic instrument, with heavier keys in the lower part of the range and lighter ones in the upper octaves. It also offers a three-sensor configuration that accurately senses and interprets keyboard behavior. In addition, the GH3X keyboard offers a rebound mechanism that reproduces the subtle click at the bottom of the key press. This "escapement" has been designed so that the click is only detectable at the lightest stroke, similar to an acoustic piano.
The Smart Pianist app makes it easy to learn how to accompany your favorite songs. Simply connect an iOS tablet or mobile phone to the piano, and the app will analyze your favorite song and create a piano accompaniment notation. Then just follow the light signal above the keyboard. This makes learning accompaniments simple and fun.
The CSP series pianos offer the excellent sound of Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos, but in addition to these, just about every instrument you can imagine awaits inside, including orchestras. There are also percussion sounds. You can try out all the instruments with built-in songs.
But you don't have to limit yourself to just playing. You can connect a microphone to the piano and add extra spice to your singing with the integrated harmoniser. So you can invite a singer or a female singer to join your performance and use the built-in speakers for the sound system.
Other features of the CSP series that should be mentioned include reverb with fifty-eight presets, layer and split functions, 470 accompaniment styles (including intro, ending, fill, etc.), two headphone outputs, and USB and MIDI connectivity for connecting other devices.
