With the M-Audio Hammer 88, you can control all your virtual pianos and other instruments just like on a professional stage or acoustic piano. A balanced keyboard with hammer-action mechanics lets you interpret even the most demanding parts. There is a fader for volume control, but you can assign it to control any parameter in your DAW, as well as a pitch and modulation wheel. Up/down buttons allow you to navigate through banks or individual tracks.
On the rear panel, you'll find three pedal inputs (Sustain, Expression, Soft) as well as a MIDI output that lets you connect the Hammer 88 to older synths and other peripherals, for example.
You'll also enjoy the bundled software package with Ableton Live Lite, Eighty Eight Ensemble, Mini Grand, Velvet, DB33, Touch Loops and MPC Beats. This gives you a range of piano and other sounds to get you started, and you can record your ideas right away.
