The Laney A - Duo is a compact, portable acoustic combo with 120 watts of power, a good choice for a wide range of acoustic instruments - from acoustic guitars and basses to harps, cellos, accordions, etc.
A powerful Class D amplifier and two eight-inch speakers provide ample drive in a pleasingly clean sound.
The combo offers two completely independent channels with combined XLR/6.3 mm jack inputs with phantom power, a three-band EQ with a Shape button that suppresses midrange frequencies and enhances highs, and Reverb/Chorus effects. Each channel has an independent Level control and an associated Peak LED indicating the performance of the machine and its ideal settings. The main panel also offers an Anti-Feedback button with feedback suppression, a Phase switch to change phase, a Mute option to suppress the signal of both channels (not the line input and effects loop), and a Volume control.
The rear panel includes a headphone output, an effects loop, a line input for connecting multimedia devices, and a Remote jack, which you can use to connect a footswitch to the machine and control the internal Reverb and Chorus effects independently. An XLR output with associated Pre/Post and Ground switches allows you to send the signal from the combo to external PA systems or directly to a mixing console. The EQ switch selects between four preset audio modes. You'll appreciate this feature depending on the nature of the environment, acoustic characteristics and your current intended use.
